THE ASSOCIATION OF DEALERSHIP COMPLIANCE OFFICERS (ADCO) was founded to assist dealership compliance officers by offering guidance, training, resources, and a platform for sharing best practices. The services provided by ADCO encompass practical and effective training to establish a compliance management system, content on relevant federal regulations throughout the dealership, comprehensive training, and resources covering all aspects of the compliance officer’s role and responsibilities. ADCO’s broader mission is to protect the dealer.
THE ASSOCIATION OF FINANCE & INSURANCE PROFESSIONALS (AFIP) was established in 1989 by the retail automotive industry to provide formal and recurrent state and federal regulation training for F&I practitioners. AFIP also certifies dealer contact personnel employed by select captive and institutional lenders, aftermarket product vendors, and independent general agents. AFIP has completed 100K plus certifications to date, with only a hand full to certified practitioners getting their dealers in trouble.
